In a few hours, we will say goodbye to the year 2010. I am compelled the last few days of every year to reflect on what has been and dream about what is to come. I am challenged every year to love bigger, dream broader, and live greater. In 2010, I read several books which challenged me to do just that.
A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller. In his book, Miller says, "Every life is a story. Whether it is a story worth telling and talking about , though, is up to you."
The 4-Hour-Work-Week, by Timothy Ferris. One of my favorite quotes from this book: "Someday is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you."
Rework, by Jason Fried & David Heinemeier Hansson. This book challenges the naysayers, "That would never work in the real world."
Here is to a bigger, broader, greater 2011! Happy New Year!
